I'm not 100% positive this is nationwide, but I know in texas, they cover up to $1000 worth, and if you need more covered, they can work with you beyond that.
my job has me working with progressive adjusters all day long.

In most states their policies include $1000 CPE coverage if you have comp/collision. Add'l coverage is available for additional cost. They prefer receipts, but other forms of documentation proving ownership of the custom part are reviewed on a case by case basis. If you don't have receipts, I would recommend detailed photos of the part at high resolution, along with a photo of the VIN on the vehicle proving that it is your car, and date the photograph if possible (I sell insurance).
Oh yeah and whatever you do, keep this in mind... their policies automatically VOID your coverage if it can be shown that your vehicle has ever been raced or even was involved in a "timed speed competition" (Solo II). So watch out.

HPDE means High Performance Driver Education
There are two kinds of "track days" - Time trials/road racing and HPDE.
In HPDE there are no lap timers, no trophies, and very strict passing rules.

I was just wondering if we're covered when we're doing those events.
