Just kidding...though they are carrying Levi's now (in case no one knew - I read about it on this site, actually).

I actually don't know if these are available in the USA but we have a place here called BlueNotes - they make great jeans for guys. Aside from that, Gap are comfy but junk - wear out in no time.

Moto and Mavi work best for me. I like the Euro styles the best because they fit properly. For some reason American brands "underlabel" their dimensions (i.e. 30 w is really more like 32 w). Guess it helps fat bastards feel better about themselves.

Geoffrey Beene or Levi's. CK are too long and skinny. I had a couple pair but with a small enough waist to fit me, you needed Kate Moss legs to get into them.

I picked up some AG jeans the other day for about 160 but they are damn comfortable they are worth it imho
