I can't carry cash, I'll use it all in one day.

I could control money better with a debit card.

I NEVER carry cash, period. I even live in a small country town and never need it. When necessary I will write a check.

There is are a few people that I happen to go out to lunch/dinner with that never have cash on them I personally think it is rude, and a hassle if you forget to bring cash to an event with a shared bill. It's one of those things that is not that bad if one person does it, but would become a headache if everyone decided to to it.

How do you handle small purchases? What if they do not accept debit?

They could split the bill with the credit card if the waitress is any good.

when I go and some a hole start giving me crap about the bills, no cash, blah blah blah, I tell them to put the whole bill on my debit card.

That usually shuts them up quickly and that's worth more to me than saving money.

I like to carry maybe $10-20 in cash on me, just in case I completely screwed up my accounts or I want to make a $1 purchase.

Besides, the wife is a bartender so she always has cash on hand.

Ballin'. Aren't you limiting yourself then?

My comments were to those that literally carry no cash, not even a cent. I usually carry $30 or so and use credit most of the time.
