I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Gateway 42" Plasma TV for $2999. Very tempting purchase.

I think we paid around $12000 a long time ago for the Pioneer 50" plasma set. Gran Turismo 3 was fun in widescreen mode but it still looked better on the Sony Wega.
