Parents hate sticks so im learning on my own with my aunts 2001 Jetta 1.8T ( HORRIBLE clutch) i stall it soo easy. Then i get in a freinds 1999 Civic and never stall it at all, so much differance!

Me - when I was 16 worked for a rich guy in the summer had his own air strip on his land. He took me out there in an old dump truck he owned & said when you know how to drive it come back, & I did.

My dad, 02 Boxster S. We live on a hill and have a steep ass driveway, add a Porche clutch to that equation and you've got lot of stalling

Almost everyone in the UK learns on a stick shift.

It used to be difficult to sit a test in an auto.

Taught myself. Pumped gas after school and the station had a 49 Stude for running errands. It must of had a clutch and tranny of solid steel with what I did to it.

Actually learned on a John Deer 410 Loader/Backhoe. From there to a jeep. I broke the front hubs on the jeep the second day I drove it while plowing snow.
