Who's a golfer?
I'm w/ 2kturkey...it's not a tough choice: golf or driving? golf or motorcycling? golf or mountain biking? No wonder my golf clubs have gathered so much dust in the attic! I bet you'd find more avid golfers among Boxster and Z3 owners.
I don't understand why owning an S2000 and being a golfer is at the opposite end of the spectrum? Both require a similar demographic/income profile and so I expect a lot of S2K owners to be golfers. There's been many threads on this board about the number of golf bags that can fit into the trunk.
I use the IZZO Delight 300. The best dual straps going and I've tried them all.
Used to golf a minimum of 4 rounds a month before my kids. Now with kids, maybe once or twice a month. The golf cuts into my S2K time and so it's a constant tradeoff.
Oh by the way I never take the S2K to golf courses. Too many of my friends have had their windshields crack and hoods dented from all those wayward shots.

I've been golfing since I was 6 years old...22 years! I try to get out every chance I get. And I'm a salesman, so thats alot
I use a Tommy Armour Tour bag. Which "just" fits if I pull my woods out. Being a speed freak dosen't mean I don't like to unwind for a day on the golf course.

I think I'll stick with the motorbike, sailing, skiing, flying and scuba diving as my major interests (along with the occasional Stook track day).

I'd say golf and stookin' are at opposite ends of the spectrum, but so are jalepenos and ice cream, both of which I love.
Golf has a bad reputation as an old man's sport, but Tiger Woods and Aaron Baddley are showing that it can be a young man's sport as well.
If you don't want to try, fine, the courses are overcrowded already. But don't knock it till you've tried it.
To those that enjoy a game it's quite a pass time. It tests your mind/body co-ordination, gets you out in the fresh air, and is extremely social. It's also not bad for business. I run a small internet development company and play with the big guys from Telstra, NCR, Oracle and the like. Plenty of opportunities come my way via the 19th hole.
But in all honesty, I just play for the natty fashion sense. To quote Happy Gilmore, "If I saw myself dressed like that I'd have to kick my own ass!"
