Well...thats what you get when one of the most important professions in the world is one of the most underpaid. You get idiots and morons who would even consider being cops. There are certain departments/states that are exceptions, they pay very well, and the officers reflect that. NYPD, LAPD, Miami PD all make crap money, so you are going to have crap cops. How many of you would take a bullet for 21K a year?
