Default Why do I even have the S2000?

In 2000 I drove the car almost 15,000 miles and I did most of that between January and June. In 2001 I drove the car less than 4,700 miles and since July I

nice ending to the story.

while in the middle of the story, i was thinking about posting "you should just sell it, and don't complain anymore - it would be a big mistake - but sell it if you're gonna cry about it!"

oh well, have fun driving it this year!

CG...man, have you hit upon a great question! I haven't driven my S2000 in hmmm...about 6 weeks?! I don't even know! But not for the same reasons...it's just been too damn cold here and I don't want to have a redux of Jan 20, 00.

But I keep paying...and paying and paying...for the promise of a sunny day when I can enjoy this machine...at the track or on some twisties or on the way to a big S2000 rally.

It sucks for now...but it's not forever...and if you can drive the damn thing now, drive it!

Greg, you know where I live and you know that there are very few days that are too cold for top down enjoyment. I did back off from driving it for a few reasons. The first was that I was simply putting too many miles on it. The second and most important is that I'm running so much camber and toe that I'll be damned lucky to get 3000 miles out of a set of tires. Jason once said to me, "Just keep buying cheap tires." Sounds like good advice to me so I think I'll hit up Tire Rack for some more 712's. The other reasons aren't worth mentioning. The car is a blast to drive and I'm going to enjoy it!

moyopoyo, I'm glad you liked the ending and didn't have to call me a cry baby.

Sometimes I wonder why I spent all that money on a car I only use a few times a week.
Once I get behind the wheel I soon remember why.
