aside from the common horn dog cliche, i think most married men wish to stay faithful. this isn't to absolve men from responsibility, but what ive seen, it usually goes like this:

the honeymoon phase ends
wife starts to be critical/nag about bunch of stuff
man tries to work it out, but usually isn't what the woman had in mind
more frustration
female coworker or secretary at work is nice and listens or at least doesn't nag
dude cheats

cycle can begin again if hookup with coworker is made permanent.

because men are dogs and think with their penis's. DUH.

It's the testosterone and nature.

We are civilized and so shouldn't cheat based on our social structure, but it's not natural for us.

 

someone told me once when guys cheat it's about the "sex" not about feelings, but when women cheat, it's about the "feelings" not the sex.

 

because nothing is ever good enough...because we're greedy.

 

A man can not cheat with out a woman(not even going to get into people that swing the other way). For every man there is an equal number of women.




so your topic shoud be why do people cheat.

I say guys cheat mostly as a result of immaturity, and a lack of appreciation for the consequence and effect it has on the other person. Hey, sex is fun, sex with someone new is a good ego boost because clearly you're of interest to them as well, but those feelings alone shouldn't be enough to overlook the negative effects.

 

More often than not, bad people make bad decisions.

What would probably be more eye-opening is the age ranges of infidelity and/or divorce.

 

women at the office are not cheating if they are single.
