I like getting wasted. I used to do it all the time when I was young. Now it's maybe once/year.

IT's my friend that died and one of his wife, and various other friends and family of his. It's from a banner from his web page.

At 33, I like having my local bar. Hell, I'll go over there sober (sometimes I'm the DD). It's a social club, but with way looser rules.

As far as drinking beyond "social drinking," that's called chemical dependency. 30+ years ago, "social drinking" was a lot more "social" than it is now. There were a lot more opportunities to "loosen up," and that's what people did then. Now, to have a drink in the middle of the week, you may (depending on the circumstances) be labeled "alky" by your friends and neighbors.

I'm an occasional drinker but not the type to get plastered beyond my control.

I don't see the point of it. Many people use the excuse that they've had a bad day, blah blah blah, but once your sober again, you'll realize that nothing has changed except for now you have a headache to go along with all your issues beforehand.

I changed the sig pic. I did have a friend who died in the sig, but I didn't want to be a bummer to everyone else.
