I'm going to disagree with the 3-day rule for people not out of college yet...

When an adult (25+) does this, the girl reasonably thinks he's busy taking care of his life and she's not what he obsesses over.

When a college guy does this (especially in the summer) it's clear he's following the "rule"... it's a dead give away if he calls on the 3rd/4th day and sounds excited when he obviously had no major time obligations.

If the girl knows you're in a position where you aren't "tied down", call her 36 or 48 hours later. If she doesn't jump at the chance, try once more another 48-72 hous after that. Still nothing.... give up.

What I've realized: Girls know about the 3-day rule. Nothing looks worse than a guy obvioulsy efforting to play it cool.

 

i wasted my time with a girl like this for too long...we would talk and grab coffee and the like...she was very flirty...when it came time to making real plans though..she always had some tremendous excuse after she facilitated making the plans...friends someone died..mom sick...no car...after three times i just never talked to her again..stupid biotch transfered schools over the summer anyway...its a shame because she reminded me of jessica alba

 

Don't bother trying anymore. If she wants anything, she'll come looking for you considering that in the back of her mind she knows that you've contacted her twice already and her not responding to it.

Just distract yourself with other things... like go drive your S around and enjoy the twisties... hehe...

3 day rule is bs...if u LIKE a girl your ass will not last 3 days so dont stress yourself trying to last 3 days...rule number 1 if u text the next day leave it short...2 if she digs you she will text u after she has your number...3 if u want a date i cant stress this enough call dont text

 

One other way to look at it man- you love the chase, right? Otherwise why still try with this chick? Wouldn't you be turned off if she pulled out a condom and asked to stay the night and take you to her parents the next day?

The chase is the best part of any fresh relationship. If it's too easy you don't enjoy it.
