She put her # in your phone as a test.... You passed....and failed at the same time.
Since you didn't ask for her number and she gave it to you, you ASSUMED that she was interested. Instead she was really testing to see if YOU were interested.
What you should have done is NOT contacted her at all. Just waited till you see each other again and see if she mentioned why you didn't call.

"Girls" just want attention and you've been added to the list. They just want to be texted or called by as MANY people as possible so they can feel important when their alone or with friends.
It's pretty obvious that you are not the ONLY one she has inputted her number for. She's an attention whore.... let her go.

well the reason i have the run on sentences is simple;i typed this at 3:00 am in the morning and i was tired. i did not text her like that so just for you info. i'm currently going to college to educate myself and i'm trying my best since english is my second language.
