The fact remains, it is not "my" Elise which has these shortcomings, it is "the" Elise. If your friend doesn't already know about these Elise features, he should.

I broke my damn Alfa. It's not catastrophic, but a PITA none-the-less. That car is so cool and worth so little, I don't see getting rid of it anytime soon.

Actually, if Alfa comes back to the US with something RWD, I'm in. I would consider AWD, but not FWD.

Beyond that, I don't know. I don't NEED another car, so I can wait for the right one.

I'm sad to hear about the Elise's A/C. Looks like I'll have to keep looking for my future toy.

 

Aren't the only 2 models that's being imported to the US the Brera and the Competizione? The Brera's FF, and the Competizione is uber bank.

 

There really isn't enough info yet to say what they are bringing over. My dealer is telling me there will be a nice selection of cars to begin, but the mags all say it will start with the 8C.

I consider the info from my dealer more reliable. I do business with them and one guy there used to work for me. We're all friends, so there is no reason for them to stroke me.
