Mingster-

If your fish have sores, I'll bet the algie eater is chewing on them. They do it at night when you can't see them do it. Take the algie eater out and see what happens.

Go to your nearest pet store & by some anti-biotic's for them. I've had great success with that stuff....hopefully it's not to late.
