When you are retired you have an interest in the weather as it does affect when you can play golf, sit outside in the afternoon with a tall cold adult beverage, go boating, etc. When you are working it doen't matter what the weather is as its

"Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to work I go because I owe I owe."

This is true as my wife is retired and she love the weather channel. I am still working and seeing the weather for Saturday and Sunday is enough for me

 

 

Since moving to SEATTLE my favorite hobby is monitoring the weather! And I'm not (too) old!

 

So what's the weather like where you are?

 

I like watching the weather if it changes. It's never very exciting where I live. I'm 51 so that's getting there.

 

I have always wondered this myself.... or why do they like the postoffice so much, and walmart??
