Why are old people infatuated with the weather?
I'm sitting at the Honda dealer waiting for them to finish up an oil change on the S2000 (and plug a tire - aarrrggghhh!) and I'm sitting in the customer waiting area...alone. It's quiet and I'm on my laptop. An older gentleman comes in and sits down, grabs the remote, turns on the tv and changes the channel to The Weather Channel. He watches with great interest...I'm expecting he'll actually say something like..."snow in Boston!" But he just sits watching...later he leans back into the chair and reads over a newspaper. He's gone now...and The Weather Channel is still fawkin' on!! Now there's 3 people, all around I'd say 60ish+ and they are lovin' the channel too...watching with such interest.
WTF!?
WTF!?
Aha!! An Asian man has walked into the waiting room...maybe around early 40s. He takes the remote and changes the channel...he lands on the Travel channel and is now watching travel guidance on Mexico.

I thought about typing "Asian man." Then I thought, well...that's how I'd say it to a friend...not that it really matters...but we typically describe people...so I figured to hell with it...it's not racist or anything.
We get too paranoid in this day and age.
FYI - I'm now in the showroom...watching people look at a Pilot, Insight and Accord is much more entertaining.
