Why are these spyware pop ups invading my computer?

You'll need to find the root of the problem first.

1. Go to START/RUN and type in MSCONFIG and hit OK.
2. Go to STARTUP and see what it has listed.
3. Type each thing listed in google and see what it says it is, if it says it's spyware uncheck it.
4. Download Adaware and Spybot and use them once a week.

Download a program called Adaware (free) and do a scan of your hard drive. It will detect and remove all those annoying popups that are in your system.

well, i tried to download ad-aware, but it keeps linking me to spyassasin which you need to buy. can anybody post me the link for the free download?
