I've always been using IE, and still am, and I haven't had any problems with it.

I have firefox installed as well, but I don't use it much.

 

Try a program called no ads. Do a search on google for it. Works well for me.

 

I had this problem today for the first time. I downloaded Ad-aware and it cleaned everything up, but now at startup I'm getting a " Id53 " error. I have no idea what that is. All i know is that since I got this error my Windows Media Player doesnt work anymore.

btw, Im using IE.

 

Yeah both pretty much suck ass. IEs worse, but Firefox aint something I'd be proud of if I designed it either.

 

Bah, why doesn't Foxfire have an update feature?

Just downloaded FireFox but I can't seem to get AIM. It was working on IE, but now when I click on AIM it said "AIM IS NOT A REGISTERED PROTOCOL" I need some help Thanks guys

Do you ever get dialog boxes that ask you whether you want to "continue running scripts on this page"?

 

I do. I just hit "no" whenever Im asked that. It doest happen too often though.

 

Although it's impossible to say from just the information at hand, those messages *could* indicate the presence of undesirable scripts running on your system. Usually, you can tell if this is the case by going to the file referenced in the message, opening it in Notepad, and looking for references to VB or some other type of script.

Most commonly, these scripts will hijack your IE home page, but they can cause popups also. That's why I was wondering if exa4driver was getting those messages. Adaware and Spyware aren't very good at removing these.
