Kamen deserves every penny, the guy is an amazing genious of our time. I can't wait to see what Ginger is! Of course we've all speculated when "It" was first announced but knowing takes the cake.

On pins and needles!

Ginger really!!! I haven't heard anything about Ginger for quite some time now. I should be very exciting to see what his invention is.

For those who hasn't heard about "Ginger", It is an invention that will supposedly revolutionize the world. This new invention is suppose to also make Dean Kamen richer than Bill Gates! within 5 years of the release of "Ginger"

It was believed as just a "hype" at first, but Steve Jobs and Gates himself was supporting him on this project, not to mention some other big cap CEO's.

Wonder if it's a 400hp, 12,000 rpm Honda s2000!

from what I read, Kamen has come very close to solving the problems of the "sterling" engine. The scooter will have a conventional engine, replacable with a sterling when perfected.

What this may mean is the end of overhead power lines in our lifetimes, as individual homes could have their own, tiny powerplants that are almost 100% effecient.

I don't remember where I read this - Discover Mag, Scienticic Am., Nat'l Enquirer...

I too have been unpatiently waiting for the release of "IT"
It is, if no less, marketing genious. I didn't even know what it was, but I had to have one!!

Now I've heard it has something to do with gyroscopes as well, so that you can't flip it over and kill yourself.

Personally, I'll still holding out for the jet pack!

this must be an incredibly intellectual bunch - noone else seems to know about IT.

or maybe it was in the Enquirerer...er

Jet packs would be the coolest!

I might wait a couple of years, however, until the bugs are worked out. Three dimensions - no road - crazy!

It's about time..according to the patents that were made for the product, it is going to be some sort of scooter-ish deal.

Yea, I hope this is just more than hype especially with all the publicity and the build up of this "revolutionary" device.

On TV I did see some type of a hover pad scooter but I don't think it's the same thing since Kamen said it'd be revealed on the 3rd but who knows.

Anyways, I'll be waiting
