I just saw on CNN headline news talking about the Oscars said that Will Smith was originally offered the role of Neo in the Matrix 1. But he turned it down.

Man that would have sucked!

I think that Will Smith hit his high point of his acting ability in MIB. As for Tippy Keeanu (and Tylor too) he never had any

Don't think the Matrix would've been as entertaining with Will Smith in it. Especially the line where Neo says "Whoa". No one does a better whoa than Ted "Theodore" Logan
