Successful Mini Dates Business to be Given Away to Disadvantaged Single Woman
Here's the catch.
1-Applicant must be a single woman with an annual income of $20,000 or less.
2-Applicant must have dealt with one or more of the following issues: Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, depression, drug and alcohol addiction, physical or sexual assault.
3-Applicant must write a compelling essay about herself and why she wants to own Mini Dates
Mini Dates is a party where single participants meet, talk and at the end of the night cast ballots for those they want to see again. Mini Dates opened its doors in November 2000 and since then it has serviced close to 1000 single men and women in Santa Cruz. Some of those men and women have found their true love at Mini Dates. "It pleases me to know that I helped put lovers together, but it will please me even more to know that I have given a hand-up to other women who are like me," says Fagan. If I can help empower100 women, in my lifetime, I will have fulfilled my life purpose." Says Fagan.
Fagan will select one woman in Santa Cruz, give her a "How to Have a Mini Dates" packet, help her plan and organize the event and do the first Mini Dates with her. Then she will continue to mentor and coach her to success with Mini Dates. Fagan is initially targeting the Santa Cruz area, including Salinas, Watsonville, and Monterey.
