I have Windows ME installed on my computer and it crashes very frequently and whenever I try to Hotsync my palmpilot it freezes. I got Windows 2000 and tried to install it using the dual boot method. It crashed while attempting to install this. So now every time I start my computer up it comes up with the dual boot screen with a choice of Windows ME or Windows 2000. And after 5sec it defaults to Win 2000, which goes nowhere b/c the install did not finish(crashed), If i choose Win ME everthing is fine. I just want to get rid of the dual boot menu screen and go back to the way it was, so I'll stick with Win ME. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't remember exactly where it is but you need to set "bootmenu=0" and it will stop the dual boot. But where that's hiding I've forgotten. Hopefully someone else steps in before I remember.

Good luck

You're better off to start over and format the drive. Those two operating systems on the same machine set up for dual boot is asking for trouble.
