Windshield washers should be BANNED from a moving vehicle
Sorry, have to disagree with this one. I used my washer as I came to work today because of splattered bug juice on the windshield was starting to be smeared when the light rain started to fall and I needed my wipers. The only way to clear it was to use the fluid and wipers together.

Seriously... I got hosed the other night by a pickup, I caught up to him, he waved, we had a good life, and moved on with our lives.. if you really have problems with other people spraying their windshields, perhaps riding the bus might be better for you.
puahhahaha... what a awesome sob story!
actually, when i'm driving my other car, i purposely use my washers when i'm in front of a convertible... not to mention that i also throw my cigarette butts vertically into the air, out of my sunroof, hoping that it would land onto mister driver.
my friends and i used to adjust our washer jets so that they aim to the sides of the car. you would not imagine the FUN you could do just driving around town!!!!!

You guys are so funny
. My kids (when they were in high school) told me about their friends who bend the washer jets to spray cars to their sides (or over the top). Never thought I'd read about it on this board though -- I was expecting more "mature" behavior from S2000 drivers
But thinking back, that may be exactly what happened with the car I was following (i.e., intentional spray to the cars on the side and over the top).
Maybe instead of "Windshield washsers should be BANNED", I should have said "Windshield washers should be BENT from a moving vehicle"
I feel much better now, thank you.

Okay, it is called having your washers AIMED PROPERLY!! If they are aimed correctly this problem is much less...but I want my washers to work in case some guy throws mud on my window on the highway and I need it cleaned off NOW to get to the side of the road safely.....
