There are so many people around me getting a divorce right now, I'm really questioning marriage in todays world. I personally would take a commitment very seriously, but that's only half the battle. There is no guarantee I can expect the same from a woman. Reading all the recent relationship threads, and all the divorcing around me isn't very motivating.

I worked way too hard to get what I want in life, and I'll be damned if I let a woman destroy it.

Well speaking from personal experiences and as a FEMALE....give her the space she wants.

BUT put somewhat of a time limit on it. Tell her that you'll give her space for 30 days and then if she doesn't tell you by then, you guys are done.

 

The fact you are this upset is probably the same reason she needs time apart. If the girl you are dating is under 25 and you don't remind her fairly often that you don't need her and don't think she is remotely 'perfect', she's going to leave you.

It might sound irrational-and that's probably because it is. If you like her too much or treat her too well she's going to look elsewhere. Don't ask me, I just follow the rules I don't try to change the system.

I will bet you a cool $1,000 that if you act like you truly** don't give a f*** that she wants time apart she will come crawling back to you before you can even get out the door.

I'm going with s2000raj on this one. My current girlfriend, who's pretty nuts, has two very attractive sisters and I honestly think that part of the reason I'm still with this broad is that I get to chill at her house while her and her sisters run around changing clothes before we go out. I can't control whether I like looking, that's all genetics.
