My Dad's home built 52 foot cat was launched today in Lake Ontario near Belleville. He designed and built it from scratch over 4 years from fiberglass and kevlar. Book your charters now!!!! 6 cabins plus crew quarters, full galley, hot tub even a crows nest at the top of the mast.

It has a 17 knot cruising speed and a top speed of 22 knots. Duel 26HP Yamaha Diesels and a 500 gallon tank will manage 15-18 knots. All this while sitting in the hot tub sipping a frothy drink

It's 52 feet long and 26 feet wide. Full home theater and bar. 6 luxury cabins and a full dive setup.

As for 0-60, as slow as possible So as not to spill the drinks of course

If he ever needs crew, you know how to get in touch with me. Got a decent bit of sailing experience and will be taking some formal lessons soon.

Here are some more shots of the launch. I know where I'll be vacationing from now on! The deck hasn't been painted yet as you can see. You can click the images to see them at full size.
