The World Series
Greetings.
The New England forum has a practice of asking other regions if they are interested in a "hat bet" when our professional sports teams are in a play off game with a team from the other region. One good example is the New York forum betting with us on the ALCS series. After the Red Sox won, we asked the Gateway forum if they wanted to bet on the World Series with us, but we haven't had much interest. So we thought we would ask if any of you are interested in a hat bet. If the Sox win, you have to buy one of us a World Series champions hat and send it to us. If the Cards win, one of us has to buy a WS hat and send it to you. Right now, there are three or four New Englanders who are willing. If you want to get involved, post here:

If you really won't buy a hat and send it, please don't bother to post. We always hold up our end of these bets. Just ask the New York folks.
