Would this carfax scare you off?
I have a deal in place on this car. Just noticed the accident on the Carfax. Car looks ok to my untrained eye.
the thing that worries me is how quickly the car had miles put on it and the time between the reported accident and the time the car went up for sale was 1 year and the car only covered 2500 miles in that time....hmmm...makes me think a "kid" owned it and drove the piss out of it, got in a fenderbender and either lost his DL for DUI or something ooor...mommie and daddy took it away. Carfax says it spent time in Amherst MA...UMass is in amherst. Also said it was in Marblehead Ma...which is 70+ miles away from Amherst, so it could be something like a professor communting back and fourth...hmmm.
Audi dealer is telling me that they wont certify cars if they are not 100% ok and I shouldnt worry about the accident.

If you wait for an accident free car it will definitely help in resale if you are going to sell it in a few years. I just hate seeing and accident indicator on any carfax report. While it may have been the smallest fender bender. If you try to sell the car, every single buyer and or dealership is going to scrutinize you over it and think of the worst, and probably offer a lot less because of it.
But you may save on the front end by getting a good deal because of it. Really its up to you. It could be a perfectly good car, just might be frustrating when it comes time to sell.

It was run off the road and hit a utility pole and they tell you not to worry about it?
From what I hear a good audi is a PITA to begin with, couldn't imagine what a wrecked one would be like.
If it's a good deal and you're getting a warranty and you REALLY want it, but I wouldn't do it.
