smyroad:

No to the Concours...too new a car. I am car- showed out after ten years. This year, I get to attend as a spectator and finally get to see the cars.

I plan to sell my 62 Vette this Spring. From now on, I plan to only have newer cars. The old cars are a hoot and draw a crowd, but can't compare in driveability to the new iron out there.

If I would get rid of the S2000, my choice would be a 911 drop top. On the other hand, when comparing price and the cost of maintenance, that is a huge difference in price. I still like the Vettes, however they have gotten too big. They still give one of the best "bangs for the bucks" with tons of torque.

In three to four years, someone will come up with something to tempt us.

Did you mean 1900 or 19,000 miles?

I just can't believe you drive your S2000 on average only 73 miles each month. Something has to be wrong. That is only 2.4 miles per day . How many awsome sports cars do you have in your driveway to choose from?

And to answer your question: Hell YES!

I got mine 10/01/99 and have 36k miles on it. 98% of that is just going back a forth to work.
Problems? You bet
Would I get another one? No thanks
But I will probably keep this one until the wheels fall off or someone runs into it.
If I were to replace it I would like a MINI 'S', or M3, or 350Z. or GT40(please build it Ford)... I am replacing the wifes car with an EVO. IF THEY EVER GET HERE!!!

I've had mine for about 10 months an have almost 18,000 miles on it. I should drive my wifes car more often, but every time I have to go somewhere and both cars are home, I just can't bring myself to drive anytyhing else.

I had my for 2 years, now she has 18k miles. I want to buy another one just to put in the garage.

I want the Monte-Carlo Blue (?) with blue soft top and blue interior. And if there are Type-V or Type-R avaible in US, I will definite get those.

I've promised myself to keep this car FOREVER as long as I can afford to have other vehicles in my garage. I would probably move onto something more practical, but I don't think I'd be able to part with my S2000. I can't give it up!
