Would You Buy Another One?
2002 will mark the third year many of us have owned our car. A few have limited miles, but most have logged many miles. Soon, it will be time to replace the high mile cars or the leased ones.
Will you buy another S2000? Why??...Why Not? If not, what would you buy?

PS: I bought mine in November 1999 and have logged approximately 1900 miles. I plan to hold onto mine for a while. If I were to replace it, I would certainly look around. Right now though, I don't know what I would buy as the S2000 is still rated one of the top 10 cars, the price is comparably low and the fun factor is extremely high.

oh yes, if mine were stolen or (god forbid) crashed I'd definitely look to the 2002 model as its replacement. Much as I love my Silverstone one I think I'd have a change of colour though, Red or Monte Carlo blue.
I love the car for its looks, feel and above all the way it revs and sounds - nothing could replace that for me at the moment.

I bought mine in Nov '99, have about 35,000 miles right now. At this rate, I'll hit 100,000 in Feb '06. Seems like a good point to get a new car. At the moment, if I had to replace a 100k mile S2000, I'd get another one. In 2006? I dunno, I'll have to see what's available.
I've had some reliability problems, so if I could find anything similar, I might consider something else. In fact, I've looked at other cars recently, but nothing else yet has the
factor that the S2000 does. I've mercilessly redlined more than a few demos looking for the "sweet spot," and it's obvious that nothing less than a VTEC equipped car is going to cut the mustard now!

I leased my S in December, 1999 for three years and have 35,000 miles on it. I have to decide what to do by December. Since Honda usually has four-year model runs, a new S wouldn't be due until 04. Hopefully, by then Honda will be talking about a new S with 350hp for 04 and i can just extend my lease nine months. I'd hate to just get the same thing.

duuuude!!!!
