scary thing is that they are all charged with molesting 14-15 year olds!! O_O thank goodness i just turned 16?

probabilities of offending again are not reflective of reality. Obviously, if a person has demonstrated a wilingness to do something, they are likely to do it again. But the reality is, people are different. A friend just quit smoking. I can do it or not, but I make sure not to smoke around him, because I know how it is. If these people can suround themselves with good influences, avoid temptation, and really make an effort, all is good. If they are relegated to crap jobs, surround themselves with social degenerates, and make no effort to act like an adult, then yeah, they will most likely do it again.
I'm not saying a rapist deserves the spit I leave on the ground, but practicality syas that treating people like scum doesn't leave any incentive to improve their behavior. Sometimes popular culture seems to encourage "to the victor go the spoils," when most of us would frown on a "might makes right" philosophy in "public" forums (privacy of our own homes).

I am for castration of sex offenders.

we may be a "modern" society, above the barbarism found in some other places in the world (such as cutting off appendages for petty thefts
)... but particularly repeat offenders... and those who target children... are MONSTERS in a very real sense of the word.there is no room in society for monsters who prey on children.
