Since it is a heavy car and has AWD the trap speed will be low. I doubt it will be that low, more probably around 95 MPH. The 1/4 mile E.T. would be better though probabkly around 14.1-14.2.

 

i saw some japanese footage of their version (it has 247hp vs our 227) and it was running 14.1-14.2

The Type R in this test actually beat the WRX. I think subaru needs to try a little harder for us North American folks.

With all that low end torque and 4 wheels to put it down on the pavement I really expected better numbers. I wonder what the 200HP RSX type S will do. I use to think it would not match the WRX in the 1/4m, but now I'm not too sure. I'm looking forward to a WRX, RSX and Sentra SE-R comparison.

0-60 in 5.8 seconds

0-100 in 17.5 seconds.

1/4 mile: 14.7 seconds at 93 MPH
