Tricks, I obviously missed something. I didn't see a statement in this thread that political commentary was verboten.

To start off, Flying Pig came in with a pretty strong political statement (although I have to admit, sometimes his sarcasm is pretty hard to fathom)

Cthree had this to say "my views about China are .... a wholesale condemnation of the Chinese system of government and political idology (sic)".

So sorry if I am stepping on any toes but I just don't like the yankee arrogance that you guys are the ones wearing the white hats and that everyone who doesn't agree with "God, truth, and the American way (sic)" must be automatically wrong.

There are two sides to every story, and you have a social, if not a moral, obligation to hear both.

 

No toes are stepped on. Political post serve no purpose. My point was that this thread started with a hacker subject and computer safety and then ran downhill to the political whatever. Perhaps even cthree contributed to this downfall, but we can forgive him(this time)just kidding. I will involve myself in something such as the thread as it started but must remove myself when the subject evolves. You are absolutly allowed to voice your opinion and I will back you up to do so,but, I do not have to like your view.
