But the thing that I'm about is the complete misuse of words. Like BREAK vs. BRAKE. Or HEAL vs. HEEL.

It's not laziness, since the number of characters is the same. Is it really just lack of vocabulary? Can you really get out of high school or be in college and not know the difference between BRAKING and BREAKING?

If I hear another person says "preop EKG", I'm going to lose it!

i'd been using snafu all this time and didn't know it was an acronym haha...thought it was just a regular word.

Not everyone was born in the United States. Not everyone uses English as thier first language. Some people come to the United States when they are adults or soon to be, so they may have a weak vocabulary. As long as I understand what they are trying to say, it doesn't bother me much.
