WTF with high school education.
I know the difference between breaking and braking, or there, their, and they're, but misuse the wrong word constatnly in posts due to my laziness with proofing and the fact that I can not look at the screen and type at the same time.
I use the two finger typing method and can actually go fairly fast but words spill out and I don't proof read. If it were something i was doing for work I would be more careful, but for the interwebs, I don't care enough.

The sad truth is we've become a nation of morons. Has anyone seen the street interviews with Jay Leno asking people very basic questions? What is the capitol of France? Where is South America? Etc. It's very sad, and embarrassing really.

Go to any street in any city in any country in the world, ask enough questions (you don't think everyone he interviews is a retard, do you?) and you will get equally moronic answers.

But back on topic, I do agree with the OP's rant. Im my studies to prep for the GRE, it seems obvious my weakest point is writing and grammar. I mean, I did fine on highschool and college writing, but the use it or loose it effect seems to have manifested itself within me.
And when Magician corrects me on grammar, im taking notes from here out!
