UPS usually requires a signature for delivery unless you arrange otherwise. Wonder why they would just leave it out like that?

Call UPS and report it missing.

It should have been insured and required a signature, so see if they have a signature on file. They keep the images for at least 36 months, so if one of your neighbors signed for you and 'forgot' to give you the package, maybe you can figure it out

A box that value over $1,000 should AT least require a signature. There should be no reason they just leave it in your front door. Call UPS. NOW!

I used to work in Package Tracking at UPS, and they do need to start a trace before proceeding. They'll do right by you as long as it was insured.

One of the reasons they do a trace is because, as with any large organization, packages sometimes go missing in transit.

My favorite was the guys who were throwing jewelry-laden snowballs from the loading dock to the employee parking lot. They only got caught when they hit a car on its way into the lot, and the guy realized that it was a very expensive snowball on his windshield.

Just use a fork...if you have kids that are less than five years old, you should get some plastic spoons until your spoons come in.
