Would you put your reciever/amp on the carpet? If so, thats a good way to blow it!

Enough of this lowering the bar crap! This is a video game system. They are going to live on carpet. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
And GUARANTEED the PS3 wont go on the carpet either.
Im just calling it like it is.
Also, RTFM! Page 3.
"Do not block any ventilation openings on the console or power supply. Do not place the console or power supply on a bed, sofa, or other soft surface that may block ventilation openings. Do not place the console or power supply in a confined space, such as a bookcase, rack, or stereo cabinet, unless the space is well ventilated."
There, those are the rules. Dont like em? Go back to the Atari. Plain and simple.

Its not the same old game system. The thing runs at 3.2GHz. This isnt an ATARI or Nintendo. It streams movies and music and pictures, and runs online, and plays games better than ANY system to date. And besides, there is NO reason to put this on the carpet like a third grader. Put it on a shelf or something. It has wireless controls after all.

... specially if bringing to another friends house. It's a console.. aimed for kids. Kids put consoles wherever. It's a toy. It's meant to be treated and should be designed as what its going to be used for. My PC is on carpet and much faster than the xbox while doing much more as well... not sure what your point was here..

At any rate, I have a PC XBOX Game Cube yadda yadda.
If you guys want to hate the XBOX for no reason, then be my guest. I will go back to playing PGR3. Those of you who have one know what I am talking about.

The Game Cube is aimed for Kids, not the XBOX. Its just as much a toy as the S2000 is.
I'm not hating on anything
I'm just loving your responses
