Anybody have much experience creating a Yahoo! Group? Seems like everybody has one now a days.
Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Marcus

Marcus,
I have a Yahoo group with about 1300 members.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/formula1-1/
I started the group back when it was Yahoo Clubs almost four years ago. I haven't been too impressed with the Groups format(pop-ups,click-through ads, etc) and we have pretty much abandoned Yahoo for Proboards.
Here's the new forum there:

Let me know what kind of help your looking for and I'd be happy to assist.

I have currently 3 Yahoo "groups" as they are now called.. all for my Favorite Hockey Players. I don't manage them much anymore, No time but they are pretty easy. Best bet is just start playing with it.. you'll get things easier.

I'm a member of a few yahoo groups and they work well. I like the e-mail notification feature.

On one of the projects that I'm working on right now, we actually set up a yahoo group to take advantage of the calendering utility and for messaging.

This is now my third attempt. I deleted the first two. Can anyone join or they have to have a Yahoo! account?
