I've heard it said that "there are two kinds of people in this world, Beatles people and Elvis people."

Which one are you?

 

I have albums by both but I couldn't say that I prefer one to the other.

 

Beatles.

My daughter is quite a Beatles fan, as is a student in my math class this semester. She (the student), upon hearing that I'm a fan, asked me what my favorite Beatles' song is. I told her "Paperback Writer"; she look at me quizzically--she'd never heard it.

Understandable, I suppose; it only got up to #1 on the US charts.

 

 

ELVIS!!! If I had been around when Elvis was, I would have been his biggest groupie And then that man in uniform YUUUUUMMYYYY!!!

 

Dr. Professor Longhair............Elvis's influence when he was a kid (Elvis that is)
Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly......just a couple of the influences of the Beatles.

 

I don't dig that Ringo much, but the other 3 kick ass!!

 

I voted for Elvis because Jimmy Hendrix was not on the list...

I'm Rolling Stones people! But as they weren't on the list, I voted Elvis.
