Of course we're all different, most of us are represented just by an avatar and often a made up silly handle. Within reason, we can be pretty well who we want to be!
I do think that peoples personalities tend to show through for all that. I think avatars showing a personal picture go a long way towards reminding people that there is actually a real person at the other end of the super highway!

Actually, I am much quieter than people would probably expect me to be. At least I think I am. I don't mind and I'm not afraid to speak or anything like that, but I would say that I'm quieter than the 4700 some-odd posts (some more odd than others) would seem to indicate...
