you want to talk about opression, what about the jews?
racism will never go away. segregation is gone. so yes, you will have to "get over it"
but I'm a white guy in a city of 1.7 million with at least a 55% hispanic population, so what would I know about racism or having racist comments being thrown at me?
guess what? we all deal with it.
and guess what else? its even worse outside the US.

Jews? Elaborate further please.
Look, I said I'm cool, and I don't feel any hate, but I'm not foolish enough to say its a joke or get over it, and as far as segregation being over...Umm that segregated grave yard I was talking about is in Texas

Go read some Stanley Crouch and get over yourselves. . . all of you.
Controversy
Crouch has reacted violently to critics and detractors. At the First Annual Jazz Awards, Crouch was invited to present an award. While reading the nominees, he made disparaging comments about two of them: trumpeter Dave Douglas and pianist Matthew Shipp. After the show, jazz critic Howard Mandel, who was chiefly responsible for creating and organizing the Jazz Awards, confronted Crouch about his earlier comments. After a short argument, Crouch punched Mandel and then was confronted by Shipp, who called Crouch "an Uncle Tom and a ****ing loser". However, the two were quickly separated and a brawl was avoided.

When it comes to Jazz, while I agree with him in fundamental philosophy, there are times when I strongly diverge from what he considers good. He sucks off Wynton, I don't.
When it comes to social ideologies, it's a bit more gray, and definitely worth listening to:

I don't appreciate him flatly dismissing "The Black Experience" (such as it is), I do agree with him that the woes in these modern days are more classist than racist.
