More than that, if you start paying attention to people's speaking style, you'll notice the high number of Americans that use "uhms and ahhs" to such an annoying rate....just watch a little TV where people are interviewed for news casts.

You know what I'm saying!

Yup I hate that phrase so much.

I think it reflects poor education and overall stupidity heh

I've recently heard a phrase which I hate too "bling bling" and I heard today that its going to be added to Oxford's along with Jedi, Lap Dance, Klingon and of course "going commando"

Someone shoot me in the head, the world has to be ending when Bling bling is now an official word.

Welcome to 2002. You guys don't get out much, do you? "Yuhknowwhudimsayin" is at least 8-10 years old in general, heavy use. "Bling Bling" is about 2-3 years old, I figure.

What does getting out much and the time span have to do with this? If getting out much means I get to hear this and other irritating phrases like it... I'll pass.

Also "you know" at the end of a sentence. Mrs. Raptor is forever saying that, particularly when she is on the phone. It drives me nuts.

I can't stand it when people use "I'll be honest with you"??? What, you were lying to me before?

I also dislike it when people say "Can I ask you a question?"- Uhm, I think you just did.
