Well as a photoshop expert I can say that this photo in question is def NOT a fake. Any half ass photographer can tell you that if you train your camera on a moving target, and use even standard film and speed, your "trained" object will be much more in focus and sharper.

If you pay attention to the overcast shadows of the people who are closer to/touching the ground you will see that their shadow point toward the runway. The plane's shadow would still be quite a distance from the plane on the ground somewhere around the guy sitting on his butt in the sand shooting a picture:

See my crude rough estimate:

See how the sand is darker in the first attachment. I am not saying that my shadow is acurate but that is where I think it would fall and the information in the picture seems to support that.

Eitherway I think it has been overly determined that it is a legit shot.

Good find

Wasn't there a plane that crashed there in the water recently? I remember seeing it on one of those "Craziest Videos" show. Would be pretty cool to be that close to a landing plane, not too mention that kick ass clear blue water.

My fiancee (also a professional photographer and photoshop expert) agreed with you. Not to mention the fact that she's like "duh there is video and more photos" lol. We are actually going to go to Milwaukee's airport this weekend and see if she can get some cool shots.

pictures is a fake... all those ppl there would of been tossed around and killed after the air plane passed by (3rd year aerospace engineer major). good photoshop skills though =D
I'd think the only chance those people had at being injured was if the pilot needed to perform a full-power climb for some reason right as he was over the beach.

yo i saw this on ripley's once IT IS REAL!

but my question is, yes it's unique how a beach is next to a landing strip and u can physically be CLOSE to these airplanes without getting hurt (unlikely) BUT if i were purposely going for a trip enjoying a tropical island/place, wouldn't the airplanes flying around be a distraction or annoyance or is it just me?!
