Your Height - Taller in the morning, shorter in the evening????
I marked how tall my kids were, then myself one day. I am 5' 11". Well, one evening I looked and I had shrunk about 1/2". So i started measuring more often, and for some reason I am 5'11" (or slighly above) in the mornings, but by night i am about 5' 10" or so.???

This is quite an explainable phenomena. When you wake up and get out of bed, what is the first thing most people do? Stretch. Your body relaxes at night, allowing the muscles around your bones to relax and let your bones settle a little, when you wake up and get out of bed, your body is still in the extended state, which the strech helps keep as it tightens the muscles in their extended state. Over the period of the day, the muscles return to their fully retracted state, pulling you down the half inch or so you gained.

Additionally, as you stand or sit upright your upper body weight compresses the disks in your spine. When you lie down, and the weight is off those disks, they will expand to their full thickness.
