It's fear-mongering to write out numbers with 12 zeros behind them instead of using the word "trillion"? I call it an extremely effective way of drawing attention to the massive debt that the government is racking up. When is the last time you really thought about how big a trillion dollars is or how small our national wealth or annually generated income is in comparison?

There's something that should scare us! There is no way we'll ever pull ourselves out of debt if the government keeps spending money like this (our government and other governments). Agree with his "solution" or not, his points are well made in regards to the spending habits and budget shortfalls that we face today.

Your use of the term "fear-mongering" suggests that you think everything is fine and there's nothing to worry us in regards to national debt or federal spending. I call that "ignorant" and I'll take "fear-mongering" over it any day of the week.
