I just watched the Ridelin episode of southpark and..it sure seems like parents either are afraid of their kids or can't be bothered to raise them correctly. My kids know not to yell or say NO to me or they get to see how fast I can move.

Instance #1

Little girl threw dirt on her mom... mom got angry

Mom..."that is bad little debbie" {whatever her name was}

Little debbie says "go away".

Mom says "be that way" and then buys that kid some icecream 5 minutes later. HUH?????

instance #2

"I thought I told you guys to stop spinning on that chair"
"WE WEREN'T SPINNING IT WE'RE JUST PLAYING ON IT"

shessh....... i'll leave the room so you can smack those freakin kids around if you want.....

By the way.... I have learned that you grab a face once (maybe twice) and they learn. These freakin neighbors of mine just let their kids walk all over them. Each of my kids has attempted to YELL at me in public about 1 time. Somehow they got the idea that I didn't appreciate it.......... and they never tried it again.

Just messin around tonight... I kiss and hug both of my boys before bed every night, we play, etc... but... I am the guy who runs the house!

Scot - pissed at all of the spinless parents in my area!

You're right Scot. Sometimes kids need a good beat down. Some kids these days just have no respect.

Scot, you are correct. I don't have kids, not really that interested in having them...but if I do/did have kids, you have to be stern with them with and let them know who's boss. I, too, am sickened and angered by wimpy parents whose kids walk all over them. That's completely wrong...

Having met you, you are a stand up guy...sounds like you're an excellent dad, as well...

Kudos...

once you get their chubby (in a cute way though ) little cheeks in your hand, they don't have much chance to ignore ya!

o well..... no one seems to know how to recycle either, so the hell with the entire world!

Speaking of Movies
"It is every Americans right to have kids and pay someone else to raise them"-Gomez Adams. Adams Family Values

I think that is the problem with alot of kids. IMHO

Children understand two things, pleasure and pain. I'm so sick of watching these little monsters run around stores and such. I was in the bookstore the other day and a woman didn't even blink when her little boy was running up and down the isle behind the counter!!! The checkout clerks were noticably disturbed...

I like to have fun w/ my kids, but when they don't listen, I get in their faces, then we leave. I have seen kids scream at their parents...the parents are sooo programed that they ignore it - easier i guess.?? why the hell did ya have kids then?? Tax benefit?
