Absolutely right SSS. The Tasers used by law enforcement agencies have killed 250+ people in North America over the last 5 years.

Just imagine if a potential thief was killed by this thing and found dead in your car - you would be up on manslaughter charges.

Same risk if it inadvertently triggers and zaps you or a passenger whilst you are driving. Imagine you're driving and zapped - you think you could avoid hitting another vehicle?

I think robbers and theives don't deserve any justice. If you're caught breaking and entering or screwing up someone's stuff, the you deserve whatever is coming to you. I think criminals should be deprived of their right to sue if they are caught in the act. I know if the law let us kick the shit out of robbers and theives and send them home without hands and feet, that would definitely curb the crime rates.

You knowingly install an ILLEGAL device in your car. Someone gets hurt or dies as a result. YOU are liable in both civil and criminal court. So not only do you pay the perp or his estate, you get to spend time in the slammer with Bubba who thinks you "shore got a purty mouf" and/or pay additinonal fines to the state. Depending on the severity of the charges, you could loose your right to vote and to carry a gun.
Weigh the potential cost/benefits and it's not a great deal.
