I have a simple question wonder if you guys have a simple answer....

I love love regamaster evos I want 17x9 squared all around in white not an easy task to find obviously.

I see the MP marquis promadas all day everyday. My biggest turn off of these are where the center cap sits the raised lip. I haven't really seen a difference besides that.

Basically my question is could I just cut and grind down that raised lip? Would that work and be safe?

Thanks

machining the center down is fine. just be patient, i'm sure you'll find some evos that dont need to be mod'd

I've been wanting these for years and I never find out in time. Patience is running out and I'm a patient person. Having rpf1s on the last 3 s2000s isn't helping the cause easy. Bad luck with wheels for some odd reason.

Kinda defeats the purpose IMO.. Same thing as getting a replica and putting real decals on.. just not the same I was fortunate to find some as soon as I decided I wanted them...
Theres been a lot more movement in this thread lately I'm sure something will pop up... Just keep checking.

IMO both wheels are gorgeous, I wouldn't alter either appearance.

I would totally rock both wheels.

anyone looking for any aggressive widebody set up? here's a one, not my set just helping out

17x10 +20

I've posted this on honda-tech and I figured I'd share the information here.

For anyone that cares. Here is what Desmond once had on their site before they shut it down back in 2005, this is all the non-special order sizes for RegaMaster EVO, RegaMaster, RegaMaster Bright, RegaMaster 14 inch and RegaMaster Euro. Notice that there is no RegaMaster Marquis Promoda? Because Desmond never called them that and I hope people can stop trying to correct me. Desmond actually puts Marquis Promoda on every box of RegaMasters they sell, even RegaMaster EVO. They also sell other style wheels that have center caps that say Promoda on them.

RegaMaster EVOs are just the track version of RegaMasters (which Desmond states is a refined functional beauty for high-performance sports cars) which is why the raised center and cap was removed to save weight. Both wheels are made the same way and from the same material (aluminum alloy) and the other then that the only difference is the sizes and colors they came in.

More good information.

My attempt at translating.

Center Caps

2200 YEN per cap
Color: White/Silver
For 100 pitch and 114.3 pitch
17x9 +18 for NSX and GTR can not be mounted
When fitted with center caps a hub ring can not be mounted

Lug Nuts

Use super Duralumin A7075-T6 forged materials
Sealed to prevent contamination of foreign matter
Easy to use-19 HEX
Hard anodized surface - Color: Black
(50 mm) long ¥ 5,000 (Pack of 5)
(35 mm) short \2,400 (4 Pieces)
