There are pros and cons to both. I see it as the plastic ones I can just break off without care if there is ever a problem. They are cheap enough that replace them even now and then isn't a big deal at all. I know the aluminum rings are more durable but can sometimes be a pain to remove in the situation when you're swapping wheels around that have different bores.

I think a lot of it comes down to preference, but for the money the plastic ones do the same job and are a fraction of the price.

stoked that my regas will be here hopefully next week! ordered a set of 17x8/9 +45 just trying to decide if I need to paint them or not, wheels are in good shape but they are silver and my S is Silverstone. will update with pics soon!!

Are they in rough shape? Why would they need to be refinished?

they don't have to be refinished. they are actually in pretty good shape from pictures. they look like the faces have been refinished before, but ill know for sure once I get my hands on them. the only reason I even thought about painting themk is because they are silver and my car is silver too. and I want a different color.

Got ya. The reason I ask is because I have a super mint excellent condition set in the same sizes, but in pearl white. I don't really care for the white against my NFR and I'd always wished mine were silver.

No.

x100 is the wrong bolt pattern.
17x7 is too narrow for a square setup.

Hi guys

I was able to find a set of 18.5, 18x9.5 +45 114.3x5, with 265/35-18 Bridgestone re711 tires were about 10 years old, there were mounted on a 240sx. I was wondering how will they fit on my AP1. Anything I needed to be aware of and what do you guys think they are worth?
