Hey guys, quick question. I just had some Shine Asm style Rear fender flares and there's seems to be a lip on the fender which kinda ruins the purpose of going over fenders if the lip is just going to hit the tire as soon as I lower the vehicle. (17x10 +38 rpf1). Should I have cut/shave that lip or leave as is? At the moment I'm a little sky high because I don't want to crack the fenders.

Last question , my shine front fenders came with front bumper extensions, should I drill them into the bumper or 3m double sided tape??

Thanks in advance.

I have cut the lip on my DF front fenders and Voltex rear over fenders to get the most clearance. Better to be safe than sorry. Post pics of the car?

If it was me, I thought about going this route, I would use rivets with the extensions, maybe double sided tape to help close up gaps. This will also give it a uniform look with the over fenders since they have to be riveted anyways. Personally I would mold over the rivet nuts because I don't like the look of rivets (not molding the entire over fender, just covering the rivets). I wouldn't use double sided tape alone. Not even Voltex over fenders use double sided tape alone, they have 2 mounting points on the inside that go into the body and bumper.

These are the mounting points for Voltex rear over fenders
