Please excuse me if this has already been asked, but is anyone running 17x10 +72 all around? Does that offset not work well in the front? Tires would be 255/40/17 all around.

From what I understand, the +72 does not work well in the front due to rubbing issues on the inside near full lock. Besides, a 10" wide wheel with a 255 width is a waste. The 9" wide wheel is a much better fit.

Thanks. Yep, I figured it was not a favorable setup since I have yet to see anyone post the +72s on the front.

The 17x10 +52 barely works so the +72 wont work in the front. Also a 10" wheel with a 255 isnt a waste at all. The consensus is that a 255 will be faster and feel sharper/more responsive due to the slight stretch on a 10" compared to a 9" wheel. This has been confirmed many times by many different people. Emilio, the owner of 949 Racing and the designer of these wheels started running wider wheels and everyone thought he was crazzy at first. Now the fastest miatas are running 225/45R15 on a 15x9. I believe the rule of thumb is about a half second gain per lap for a 1 minute lap.

If anyone has a set of (4) 17x10 +72, please PM me. I have a set of RE30 17x9 +63 for trade (if interested).
